Superior PVC SWR Drainage System

Astral Drainmaster is a uPVC conventional drainage system for soil, waste and rainwater. This system enables fast and efficient removal of waste without blockage and leakage. Its high impact strength, and chemical and corrosion resistance ensure long life and virtually zero maintenance.

Astral Drainmaster system is a preferred drainage and rainwater system among architects, builders, and plumbing contractors. The state-of-the-art machineries and virgin raw materials are used to produce Astral Drainmaster SWR system. Astral Drainmaster is available in Selfit and Ringfit both types. Solvent Cement welding is most reliable and proven joining system for 100% leakproof plumbing. Tools required are very simple and inexpensive (pipe cutter and chamfering tool only). It saves labour cost compared to GI and copper plumbing and saves on investment of electrical equipments for electro fusion welding of other polymers.

Ringfit pipes are socketed on automatic online socketing machine with very high degree of accuracy. The socket has groove inside for rubber ring. The rubber ring ensures trouble free water tight joint with allowance to thermal expansion / contraction. One end of the pipe is plain and other end is self-socketed with an integral groove to hold the rubber gasket. When joined with a rubber ring, the joint formed is a trouble free, water tight one, ready to take care of thermal expansion / contraction.

 SELFIT PIPES:

Selfit pipes are socketed on automatic socketing machine with self-socket length (without groove). Such pipes are to be joined with solvent cement. One end of the pipe is plain and the other end is self-socketed on sophisticated automatic machines for high degree of accurate diameters. The pipes when joined using solvent cement, form a permanent water tight joint.

ASTRAL® Foamcore pipes are available in 110 mm to 315 mm with different stiffness classes mainly categorised as SN2, SN4 & SN8. SN2 pipes are recommended for above ground applications while SN4 & SN8 pipes are recommended for below ground applications depending on the level at which these pipes have to be installed.

ASTRAL CPVC PRO is a class apart in the category, is something more than just a hot and cold plumbing system, an initiative of Astral to deliver a world class plumbing solution.

 ASTRAL CPVC PRO pipes and fittings, manufactured by Astral Poly Technik Ltd., are made from the specialty plastic, chemically known as Chlorinated Poly Vinyl Chloride (CPVC). This CPVC compound shall meet cell class DP 110-2-3-2 as per IS 15778 and a maximum service temperature up to 93°C. This compound is carefully designed in our R & D and backed by our own expertise of manufacturing CPVC piping system from last 17 years, which gives excellent results in all applications for CPVC piping system. It is unique combination of highest impact resistance without any loss in pressure bearing capacity / Tensile strength or Vicat softening temperature. This ensures best, trouble-free service and also stands notch above the initial installation issues of cracking / damages due to handling, storage and installation.

 These Pipes are produced in copper tube size (CTS) from 15 mm (½”) to 50 mm (2”) with two different standard dimensional ratios - SDR-11 and SDR-13.5 (Class 1 & Class 2 respectively as per IS 15778). The fittings are produced as per SDR 11. The Pipes and Fittings in SDR 11 class is also complies to ASTM standard. All Astral CPVC SDR 11 and SDR 13.5 pipes are made from identical CPVC compound material having same physical properties. The CPVC fittings are manufactured from compound material which meets all the requirement as per ASTM standard.

 Apart from having the same physical properties, SDR 11 and SDR 13.5 come with different wall thickness and therefore, at any given temperature, they have different pressure ratings. For e.g.

Astral also produces CPVC PRO pipes in iron pipe size (IPS), available sizes are 65 mm (2½”) to 300 mm (12”) in SCH 40 and SCH 80 which meets the requirements of ASTM F 441. The pressure rating varies with schedule pipe size and temperature. CPVC pipes of Copper Tube Size (CTS) dimensions can also be connected to CPVC (IPS) dimensions by using IPS x CTS fittings.

Astral Foamcore pipes are basically multilayer pipes having outer and inner layers of conventional PVC and middle layer of foamed PVC. Outer and inner layers are designed to take the load and middle layer of foamed PVC gives rigidity and maintains the shape of the pipe under load. It reduces total weight of pipe and makes it light when compared to solid wall PVC pipes. The pipe is typical of solid wall PVC under load and the type of distortion is normally expected.

Astral Fire Pro is CPVC piping system for automatic fire sprinklers that provides superior hydraulics, ease of joining, increased hanger spacing in comparison to other thermoplastics and ease of assembly.
